We can write standalone README docs for our various reusable components that will display in Storybook and can contain interactive examples. There is some moz-toggle documentation that provides an example of this: https://searchfox.org/mozilla-central/source/toolkit/content/widgets/moz-toggle/README.stories.md
It would be great to do something similar for moz-message-bar once it's complete and we've used it in a couple places so that we're more confident in the API/less likely to make breaking changes.
