Steps to reproduce:
Go to a Youtube video (e.g https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lpJilhkbC9s) and switch to fullscreen. Then press Control Key + Number to switch to a tab or Control + T to open a new tab.
Actual results:
Sometimes animation freezes and the screen stays black longer.
Expected results:
The animation should not take more time than the expected.

Managed to reproduce on:
- Nightly 117.0a1( Windows only; macOS has a smooth animation)
- Firefox 116.0;
- Firefox 115.0.3;
Tested and reproduced on:
- Windows 10:
- macOS 12:
Could not reproduce on Ubuntu 22.
Setting as NEW so the developing team can have a look.
