For Events which have already been created.

Actual Result
A double click on an event displayed in a calendar OR in the Events list is not opening up in Edit mode. It opens a preview and then you have click on 'Edit'. 

Expected
double click on event in either calendar or event list opens event in edit window.

There is no need for a 'preview'.  The edit window allows for an edit and it also provides a preview. But it does cause a lot of frustration when you do not get what is expected and end up wasting time having to perform additional clicks.

Sorry posted before I realised the fix was via the Config Editor.

Appologies - this is a 'Calendar' issue but when creating the bug report, Calendar is not offered as an option, so it's too easy to end up creating a bug under 'Thunderbird'.

Fix for this issue via config editor:
'calendar.events.defaultActionEdit ' set as true
