Steps to reproduce:

Just tried TB 116. Alternating row colors are gone.

Only single white background for all messages.

No setting to restore alternating row colors (at least I couldn't find any).

WHY?

Zebra striping is gone since long time. You probably use userChrome.css which need an adaption because of the changed tree implementation.

Nope, I'm sorry but zebra stripping couldn't be gone since long time. Maximum a few months. While it's been in TB since like forever.

I don't have anything in my userChrome.css that enables zebra striping.

If you remove a feature that users are accustomed to for many years, there must be an option in app's settings to re-enable it. Especially for such an essential UI feature as zebra striping. (Which is a staple in pretty much any app where lists of items are displayed).

I have to switch back to TB 104 anyway due to other issues in 116 (bug 1776106). So I'm back to normal UI with zebra striping.

So please add a checkbox in TB to enable zebra striping (alternating row colors).
