Steps to reproduce:
Thunderbird set to send / retrieve mail automatically.
Actual results:
Every few hours I get the attached error message:
"Send Message Error
Sending of the message failed.
An error occurred while sending mail: Outgoing server
(SMTP) error. The server responded: pv50p00im-ztdg10021201.me.com Error: timeout exceeded."
This is when looking to access mail from my custom Apple Domain. The problem has only arrived with Thunderbird Supernova
Expected results:
Mail should send / receive with no timeout issues. I've tried removing the account and re-adding it into Thunderbird as well as disabling all extensions. Nothing helps.

Also a duplicate of bug https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1843696 as I'd forgotten I'd already reported it.

But it does show a different error message and this is on macOS not Linux?
It's the same message, in bug 1801668 they edited out the server name. You should close your two bugs as duplicates of bug 1801668.
