User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/115.0
Steps to reproduce:
I use thunderbird with windows 10 (64 bits).
Version Thunderbird : 115.0.1
I want to invite someone to a meeting.
I add a participant and I click on "OK". The participant appears in the list.
I click on "send and close"
Actual results:
No message is sent.
I watch the event and the participant is no longer in the list
I found a way to "temporary" resolve this issue. Once you have enter the email in "Invite Attendees", go to "Attendees" tab, you will see your email listed in there, right click and remove it. Then Click Save and Close, it will then send out the invite.
I am not quiet sure what was the issue, it seems like the email attached to the calendar has accidentally part of the "invite attendees"
Btw, this report is the same with https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1846927

I can confirm that the workaround, :TaKiZo mentioned, works. Removing your own email address from the attendees list makes Thunderbird generate an invitation. This only works when you create a new invitation or update the text (or some other field) of the invitation after removing your own email address.
But this is not an acceptable workaround in the long run. Please fix the bug.
