User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/117.0
Steps to reproduce:
Speedometer regression:
Run Speedometer, record summary. (Note first iteration results)
Drop-down lists bugging out:
Click on a drop-down list widget.
Actual results:
Speedometer regression:
Results dropped from 126 (116beta) to 114 (117beta). Iteration 1 shows only 44.28 runs/min
When recording performance, it dropped to 86 (maybe due to performance recording and not related to issue)
Drop-down lists bugging out:
Click on a drop-down list widget. It flashes many times for a bit. Causes lag when showing the list boxes.
Expected results:
Speedometer regression:
No major performance regression
Drop-down lists bugging out:
No flashing and lag when clicking and showing listboxes

This links to the performance profiler, which was set to Web Developer.
This is my first Mozilla issue, so please tell me if you need more info.
P.S: These issues appeared on 117.0b2. I do not know if this issue affected 117.0b1 as well

Hi,
- can you attach the contents of your about:support on this bug
- Are you able to do a bisection using https://mozilla.github.io/mozregression/ that will point to the commit/patch that caused the performance regression and the drop-down menu corruption ?
