User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/115.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Opened any website
- Press Ctrl + Shift + M to emulate a phone (Galaxy S20+ Android for example)
- Press Ctrl + Shift + S to take a screenshot
- Select a section of the site to grab a screenshot
Actual results:
Note the dragging option does not work
Expected results:
The dragging option would select what I was expecting to select

Also, if you click anywhere after step 3, a section is highlighted for a screenshot. Use the arrows on-screen to increase the selected area, note that moving this arrows does not work either.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Screenshots' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Hello,
#1 Yes, I'm able to replicate with a new profile.
#2 I downloaded Beta and yes, I'm able to replicate the issue.
#3 Attaching file.
Note the following. The issue when you're on a mobile device and hit Ctrl + Shift + S, then you click and drag your mouse to select a section. Responsive mode works fine.
My guess is the problem could be with "Touch simulation", 'cause if I disable it, it works just fine.

Thanks for the report. I can reproduce this and agree that this seems to be related to the touch emulation and/or event handling in screenshots in this particular context.
