1847437 - Quick Filter bar is missing buttons

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/115.0.0.0 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

update from previous version to new user interface

Actual results:

above the email entry box is a bar with several button. but i want more buttons there and cant edit that bar. for example. delete, new mail, get emails, etc... all are missing

The unified toolbar certainly should be able to customize, and is deliberately mostly empty, to not make assumptions about what the user wants to be there.

Attachment: the "menu bar" i am talking about

i was talking about this "menu bar" in the picture.
How can i add the missing buttons, like "new email". "delete email", etc.?
right click does nothing

Your screen shot shows the quick search folder filter bar, which is not a toolbar.

Ok, then is the bug, that if i right click on that unified toolbar nothing happens and i cant change the buttons there

To customize https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/new-thunderbird-115-supernova#w_new-unified-toolbar you must RIGHT click > customize. This certainly works.

Perhaps I wasn't clear - the place you may customize is the unified toolbar which is described at the link above.

You are trying to customize the quick filter bar - it is not a toolbar. Therefore you may not customize it.
