Go to any webpage that has 20pictures or more, Gif/Jpg/Png.
Open a tab to for each picture alone.
i.e. Tab1 has the main comic book page.
Tab2 has page1 of the comic book, only the JPG file, not .html.
Tab3 ditto
Tab4 - Tab20 same, just the JPG file only.
Next, just do ctrl-s to save, then close the tab, repeat, you will see like a
memory leak of sorts.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.http://ca.geocities.com/kero_kunmx/ (go to)
2.You will see a list of links of that comic book.
All that link is a JPG file, not a .html with a JPG file.
3.Open around 10-20 JPG file in their own tab
4.Use ctrl-s to save the page, then the x-button on the right top to close
the tab.
5.Repeat, you will see a memory leak, or the browser loose stability.
Actual Results:
Browser looses stability
Expected Results:
Not sure, if it is a memory leak, deallocate or have a cleaner to remove the
Unused memory?
Only solution I can do, is not closing the browser, that does not work.
I have to go to the Program Manager to end task it, so all the memory allocated
to Mozilla is released.
