If a user is logged into Amazon and has items already in their shopping cart, Amazon has their own sidebar of the user's cart. The current shopping sidebar hides this piece of UI.

Thanks for filing this. This was brought up early on, and was considered acceptable by the UX folks. Fine to have on file, but definitely not a blocker for MVP. Moving into the fast follow bucket.
