There is a lot of disk access and thrashing when mails are received or moved between folders. Compacting folders is now taking many minutes rather than several seconds. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Move a large email >1Mb <2Mb from one folder to another 2.Receive a large email from POP 3. The speed issue makes mozilla mail impractical to use.
please update to a newer trunk build (and I don't think you were running 20020826 when you encountered this) - this has been fixed. dup of bug 180516 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 180516 ***
