focus of list item lost, after clicking on it

Steps to reproduce:
<ctrl+shift+K>
enter search string
click on an email which is now listed in the main view
Actual results:
the selected email looses its focus, which is now on the right side view pane (vertical view activated) where the selected email is rendered/viewed
So I need to click on the email/list item a second time
Expected results:
focus should have stayed with the selected email/list item and should not move to somewhere else (as it was before supernova and with any other programs I use)
I need to modify this one,
the behavoir is not only after using the search option,
it is every time I click an item in the list.
If I select it again and try to use the arrow keys to navigate
trough my emails, focus is lost in the moment the email is
rendered in the right side pane.
