Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/116.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Open the hamburger/main menu
- Open the Firefox Sync submenu
- Go to "Manage account"
Actual results:
After inputing the password, Firefox will ask to sync the device, despite the later being already synced. Also, Firefox will also ask for the PIN in case of 2FA is enabled,
Expected results:
Firefox shouldn't ask to sync and type the 2FA code in a device that is already synced. It was this way before, but a recent updated changed this.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Sync' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.
Hello, thank you for the bug report ! Unfortunately I could not reproduce your issue.
Do you have some specific settings? Do I need to be connected to Sync on multiple devices? Is 2FA a must for reproducing?
Alternatively, a screen recording showing the issue would be helpful.

That is very odd - if the browser is connected to Sync, going to "manage account" should never prompt for authentication. Would it be possible to follow the instructions at https://wiki.mozilla.org/CloudServices/Sync/File_a_desktop_bug and attach some logs?
Ok. I can no longer reproduce, but I'll keep trying. It doesn't always happen.
