User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/116.0
Steps to reproduce:
Navigate to https://www.linkedin.com/feed/, click on a bookmark in the bookmark toolbar - it just reloads the linkedin page instead of navigating to the bookmark.
Actual results:
Clicking on bookmark in the bookmark toolbar reloaded the page. This happens only when I'm on the LinkedIn website.
Expected results:
It should've navigated to the bookmark.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Bookmarks & History' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Hello, thank you for the bug report!
Unfortunately I could not reproduce your issue on MacOS 11.6.8 using Fx 116.0 and Nightly 118.0a1. Would you be so kind as to answer a few questions so we can investigate this further?
- Does this issue happen with a new profile? Here is a link on how to create one: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-remove-switch-firefox-profiles
- Does this issue happen with latest nightly? Here is a link from where you can download it: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/desktop/
- Does this issue happen when Firefox is in Troubleshoot Mode? Here’s a link on how to enable it: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/diagnose-firefox-issues-using-troubleshoot-mode#w_how-to-start-firefox-in-troubleshoot-mode
- Could you please attach your about:support info?
Thank you.

I cannot reproduce as well, and without additional information it is almost impossible to figure out what's up.

- It does happen after I create a new profile
Which steps did you follow after creating a new profile? did you just login to linkedin, created a bookmark on the toolbar, and then clicked on it?
Can you share the bookmark url, or even just confirm it's a normal http(s) URL and not a javascript: URL?
- It doesn't happen with nighly
This is interesting, what about the just released version 117?
- It doesn't happen in Troubleshoot Mode
This makes me suspect it's one of your add-ons, though without about:support log I cannot guess which. Could you try disabling add-ons one by one and check if the problem persist after each?
- I'm not sure I'm comfortable with sharing about:support info :)
There should be nothing sensitive there, and if you found something that makes you nervous, please let us know so we can evaluate to remove it.
Anyway, it's ok if you prefer to not share it, we'll just have to ask more questions.
My mistake with new profile, after redoing it there is no issue.
I tried disabling extensions one by one and found out that DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials is causing the issue. I'll report a bug with them.
Thank you!
