User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/116.0
Steps to reproduce:
Not quite sure. Seems to happen randomly but has been a problem since I started using Firefox a few months ago.
Actual results:
I often notice on YouTube after going into fullscreen the bottom-left URL hover box will stay there. I have to exit fullscreen and hover over a different link (channel for example) then it will realize it needs to disappear. I use YouTube in Theater mode if that makes a difference.
Expected results:
When going fullscreen the URL box should disappear.
Hello, thank you for the bug report!
Could you please provide a screenshot of the issue?
Setting the Product to 'Core' and the Component to 'Graphics'. Please change if there's a better fit, thank you.
Thank you.
Here's the first photo before going fullscreen. Unfortunately taking a screenshot made it disappear so the second screenshot is a different. And yes, I know I have a tab addiction.
This is another video, just happened a few minutes ago. Stays persistent until I hover over a different link to make it disappear.
Thank you for the examples. I can reproduce consistently on Firefox 117.0 and Nightly 118.0a1 on Windows 10, Ubuntu 22, macOS 12. Might be a duplicate of bug 1761664.
Setting as NEW so the developing team can have a look.
Hey Ardelean, thanks for the response! I can also confirm the bug is present on macOS 13 (Ventura) if it matters, forgot to mention that. Hopefully this can be fixed!
