We can open attachments as well as messages in their own tabs by double-clicking.
This behaviour is completely broken in Supernova. I documented this in #1824593. Weirdly enough the last bug was closed as "worksforme" by somebody else.
I'm bringing this up again, because it got worse. While it still does not work with PDFs (error message will come up with "This address wasn't understood"), it now also stopped working with emails.
Open a message in its own tab, close Thunderbird, and open it again, it will still show a tab, but it is complete empty. There is no header and no content.
