As it has been said in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1547818#c21 I want to set/override the prefers-color-scheme value for specific tabs or websites, i.e. not for the whole browser.
This has been a popular request from the users of my Firefox add-on/WebExtension, see https://github.com/rugk/website-dark-mode-switcher/issues/12
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1547818#c0 use cases are still quite valid.

Depending on what the API looks like the existing prefersColorSchemeOverride might be enough.
