We would like to request Focus iOS to report the default search engine identifier instead of the actual name so to keep consistence with what we have in Firefox iOS.
You can the current status here for Firefox iOS reporting the identifier, and Focus iOS reporting the name.

Xuan, should this be adding a new probe or updating the existing probe?
Reading through the code above, I think it's more like updating the existing probe? But I didn't examine the code thoroughly so that might not be the case. Do you know how we can get to Focus iOS to properly triage this task?

If we update the existing probe, then we'll have both the old name data and the identification data being reported in the same probe/table column. So we won't be able to tell them apart.
I think it might be cleaner to use a new probe, I believe that's what we do in other situations when we need to change the data type.
Ok, I will just leave the decision with experts (not me) in the room. Do you know what will be the next step? How can this be properly triaged?
