Steps to reproduce:

I added a new device (Windows, new) to my synchronized devices, then I tried to send tabs to the new device on another synced device (also Windows, old, already running).

Actual results:

The new device didn't show up in the menu "Send Tab to Device" on the old Firefox. Even after clicking "Synchronise Now" several times in both instances. After a restart of the old Firefox it showed up.

Expected results:

That the device gets added to the "Send Tab to Device" list after sync without restart of Firefox.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Sync' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

I haven't managed to reproduce this issue on Windows 10 x64 using an older version of Firefox(Firefox 115.0) or in the latest Firefox 117.0 version while syncing two devices.
From what I understand the issue no longer persists after updating Firefox to the latest version. Is this correct or did you disable the automatic updates in your browser?
