User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; SunOS sun4u; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021211 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; SunOS sun4u; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021211 I occasionally find that some images do not print properly. Instead, a placeholder is printed, with the "broken image" icon in the upper left. With this URL, all images are printed except for the map image. It is a dynamically generated gif. I'm not sure if the dynamic part is the problem. This ocurrs when you print toa printer or to a file. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. load http://yp.yahoo.com/py/ypMap.py?tuid=180696&ck=878221831 2. print page; map image does not print 3. right-click map image and select 'view image' 4. this image alone does not print either. Actual Results: map image (dynamically generated gif) does not print properly Expected Results: print properly I have only tried on this one system: SunOS green 5.8 Generic_108528-14 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-60
This was printed to a file then a pdf was created using distill.
This is the image itself being printed to a file (to show that it has nothing to do with the HTML on the webpage). After the postscript was created, I created the pdf by using distill.
WTF with 2002-12-07-08-trunk and Xprint module...
