(Whiteboard: [closeme 2024-04-15])
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/117.0
Steps to reproduce:
I normally sort messages by date, descending. When I click the Unread filter button, the results are sorted by date, ascending. When I click the button again to return to the full listing, the sort again changes to date, ascending. Prior to last week, this did not occur.
Also, the arrow in the column headers indicating the sort column and direction disappears.
Version is 102.15.0, and updater indicates that this version is up to date.
Actual results:
Sort order changes to date, ascending, and the sort indicator arrow disappears form the column header.
Expected results:
The sort order should not have changed, and the arrow should not have disappeared.

Reporter,
Are you seeing this also with version 115.9.0 or newer?

Reporter,
Are you seeing this also with version 115.9.0 or newer?
Not recently. However, I have seen it several times in the period from ~6 months ago to ~3 months ago, usually just before a new update gets installed. When the update installs, the behavior disappears. (And it disappeared a couple of days after I made the report.)
Weird.
