Steps to reproduce:
Open Thunderbird, right click over any tag in the tag pane, choose manage tag. In the settings tab which opens showing the tags list to add/edit/delete, click new button. Create a tag with any name.
Actual results:
The tag created appears twice in the tag list in settings but only once in the tag pane on main screen. The duplicate name in the settings tag list will usually disappear if you close thunderbird and open it again.
Expected results:
The new tag should have appeared just once in the list.
