Well, it didn't crash for me, but it did lock up my computer for a couple of minutes until it rendered the page. WinXP, Java 1.4.1_01 (although the site is using applets). Confirming.

With moz 1.4.1 on W2k it did not crash, but did appear to hang the computer for 30 seconds while the page loaded.
Most of the site is password protected, subscription only, but I can browse through any free access content, and re-load the home page without a problem. Mozilla 1.4.1 on W2k
wfm reporter (Doug H.) and David K., and either of you still reproduce this bug with a new build?

Tryed it on Mozilla 1.8a1 and also FireFox 0.8.0+ and it worked fine on both. I have both Java 1.3.1 and 1.4.1 installed on my box and I'm not sure how to tell which Mozilla/Firefox is using. Both of the Java Consoles show 1.4.1 -- that's probably what they're using.
