Steps to reproduce:

Running TB 118.0b4 on kubuntu 22.04.3
Saved ics file attached to email, closed TB, and then clicked on saved file, import dialogue opened with event shown, clicked Import All.

Actual results:

Dialogue remained open, and event not imported. After some time top showed nMaj was 1857. This did not change after more waiting time.
Had to kill process.
Similar result if just clicked on attachment without saving first (before closed TB).

Expected results:

Event should be imported.
After several attempts the event was imported.

Testcase didn't hang for me. (But only one event shown, so no Import All?)

Now seems to work. Not sure what problem was previously, but notice that if I click on .ics attachment in Thunderbird beta, actually runs non-beta version (102.15.1). This hangs without importing event. Clicking on exported file runs Thunderbird beta, as have set this to default handler for system.

I also have an "Import All" button, even though there is only one event. The "Import Event" is greyed out, but it does import the event without displaying a success message. "Import All" displays success after importing.

Ok let's close if it now works.
