After updates in bug 1843044, --newtab css variables such as --newrab-background-color were no longer accessible from the firefoxview directory causing the background in dark mode to be unexpectedly dark. Eventually, we will want colors like these to be accessible from a shared css file where the variables can be reused across the browser, but in the interim as part of bug 1852603, we've defined the necessary --newtab variables in firefoxview-next.css.

Once gray tones are agreed on and consolidated in bug 1821203, we should go back and remove these hardcoded colors in firefoxview-next.css and reference the new shared variables instead.
