Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/118.0

Steps to reproduce:

I went to youtube and opened a video in 4k in fullscreen. I just switched to firefox from chrome so I noticed the difference.

Actual results:

I noticed that although the playback is perfectly smooth when the video is in the default youtube view, when I put it in fullscreen or theater mode it starts to be choppy. My pc configuration is perfectly capable to play 4k videos.

  • Intel UHD 610
  • GTX 1050

Expected results:

It should have played the video perfectly. I tried doing the same on Chrome and Edge, and did not encounter the problem.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Audio/Video: Playback' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.
