Steps to reproduce:
Search via global search
Actual results:
You get an overview with search results displayed with additional context. When clicking on one of the results nothing happens (very unexpected). Also double click has no effect.
Expected results:
To give more context for the thing you are looking for, view a preview of the message. And open the e-mail when double click.
Just the same way as it work in a list view. Only the list view is not useful because the lake of context and a mark where the search string is found.
