Steps to reproduce

  1. Open "https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?resolution=---&query_format=advanced&product=Fenix"
  2. Long press on some tickets and click "Open link in new tab" .
  3. Wait some seconds for page loading
  4. Switch to the new opened tabs.

Expected behavior

  1. the scroll position of page on new opened tabs is at the top.

Actual behavior

  1. the page on new opened tabs have been already jump to the end.
  2. If you directly open the link in the current page, previous behavior will not occur.

  • Firefox version: Firefox 117
  • Android device model: Pixel 6
  • Android OS version: 13

Any additional information?

  1. Not all sites could trigger this bug.
  2. It was not reproducible before Firefox 116.
  3. Related bug 1813215
