See the URL. This image is not rendered at all, but opens fine in the Gimp. Mozilla 1.3a (20021212) on Red Hat 8.0. Gerv
wfm with win2k build 20021214.. gerv: Have you tried a shift+reload ?
worksforme with linux trunk 20021214 (and 1.3a) on Red Hat 8
Shift-reload doesn't work. It works on my Win2K mozilla at work. It works when loaded from local disk. Dragging across the blank page shows up a small white square in the top left corner; this square has the image context menu. It's 24x24px. Doing "View Image" on it merely reloads the current .gif URL. Doing "Save Image As" saves a proper copy. Select All and View Selection Source gives:

So basically, it's a display issue. I'm getting a 24x24 white square instead of the image itself. This also happens with some other GIFs from the Zeitgeist page. It thinks the image is corrupt. Gerv
if loading locally works, then this is probably not imagelib. perhaps bug 121084? do you have it set to compare to cache every time you view a page?
I have it set to "when the page it out of date". Gerv
I can NOT reproduce this... can you provide more information about your linux system that this is failing on? Any chance memory is low? Running to an 8bit display? Is this the ONLY image that you are not seeing or are there others? BTW the image is 1030px BY 220px, NOT 24 by 24. I need more info to debug the issue.
> Is this the ONLY image that you are not seeing or are there others? Blimey, I'm dense. Now that I think about it, I haven't been seeing the Google front image either. It couldn't possibly be image blocking, I think. I don't use that, and never have. But I check and, lo and behold, images are blocked from www.google.com. No idea how that got there. <slaps self with a large haddock> Apologies to all for wasting your time.
