User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/117.0.0.0 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
OS: Windows10
I observed unexpected behaviour of Thunderbird in different situations:
Actual results:
After clicking "Send" in the composing window sometimes the "From" field was "greyed out", the mail wasn't sent. (The only way to solve this problem was to close the Composing-window, save the mail as a draft, restart Thunderbird and then send the mail. But even then it did'nt work always.)
The calendar didn't update any more. New appointments were not displayed any more.
Expected results:
I finally found out that the problem wasn't Thunderbird itself but that the hard disk on which Thunderbird had the profile-files ran out of space. After cleaning the hard disk and recreate space Thunderbird worked without any of these problems.
It would be a big help if Thunderbird checks the remaining disk space in the working directory on startup or every ~30 minutes, for example. Because the problem occured the first time after an Update i suggested a buggy addon and it took me quite a while to find out that the disk space was the problem.
