Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/118.0

Steps to reproduce:

In TB 115.2.3 I have no accounts configured. I select Events and Tasks → Calendar (Alt+3) → New Calendar … → On the network → Next. I leave Username empty, fill Location: https://cal.aegee.org , [x] Offline Support → Find Calendars.

Actual results:

TB finds four calendars. I select “Properties” on the first calendar. The dialogue shows a yellow warning “If you want to use this calendar to store invitations to or from other people you should assign an email identity below” and later [x] Read Only.

Expected results:

• Since the calendar is read only, as mandated by the server and recognized by TB, assigning an email address to that calendar has no added value. Assigning an email address shall not be possible for read-only calendars and the cited warning above shall not be shown.

• Irrespective of the above, that warning increases the height of the window and to fit its content a vertical scrollbar is introduced. As this scrollbar is avoidable and requires more moves to handle it, the scrollbar shall not be shown, when the “Properties” window shows a warning.
