move ab sync code out of mozilla and into ns tree cavin, I think we need to move the absync code out of mozilla, and into the ns tree. we should wait for mozilla to drop mac classic to do this, this will make the build changes much easier. when that happens, mac, linux, and windows will all use autoconf.) the original reason parts of the absync code were in mozilla were for palm sync. but it was decided not to use absync for palm. the ab sync code is for netscape's aol mail support. there's no reason to require people to pull and build, and it just bloats mozilla mailnews. asa / brendan, when is mac classic going away? I almost want to say we should do this before landing #183087.

here's the patch, but we also need to cvs remove all of mozilla/mailnews/absync before we do that, I want to ask leaf if we can move the CVS files by hand, to avoid losing the checkin history.
this bug would be blocked by mozilla dropping mac classic. asa, is there a bug number for that?

fxied, the code has bee removed from the mozilla tree. blizzard pointed out that openoffice.org ships the absync component (.so) along with some other mozilla dlls, but I doubt they are using it to do sync. see http://dba.openoffice.org/specifications/address_book_architecture.html?JServSessionIdservlets=9v97qn3ky1
