User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15_7) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/117.0.0.0 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
On Macbook, examine the date in the status bar on the top right of the screen. When other apps are active (foreground) the full date is displayed (if configured to do so in Mac settings). But when Thunderbird is active (foreground) the date is not visible. If you switch between other apps and Thunderbird the problem continues.
See attached pdf of several screenshots illustrating the problem.
Actual results:
Date is not visible
Expected results:
Date should be visible.
Same screenshot with my personal email address redacted. Please remove 1st attachment if possible.

Did it use to work in version 102? (I don't have a mac)

I believe it used to work because I've used a Mac for over a decade and I've used Thunderbird the whole time I think. I would have noticed.

Never seen a date/time in TB on Mac except the date icon from calendar in the statusbar. Can you show where it should be placed. Probably this is from an extension or userJS hack.

Ah yes, the PDF. I'd say this is a overflow issue as you have many items on the system titlebar and TB has many menuitems and there isn't enough space for everything and the OS removes things which are less needed. On my screen is enough space and the time/date are shown.

It appears you are correct. I removed several things from the system titlebar and the date appears again.
Thanks
Mike
