This bug is visible only on Linux (1.2.1, current trunk nightly). In the Windows (1.2.1) version the rollover menus display fine. So it's a platform specific problem. The rollovers are on the bar in the middle of the page. If you very slowly move cursor up from the space under the bar you can find a spot where the menu items display fine. If you move the cursor more the menu items hide and you can show them only one by one as you move cursor over them.
Created attachment 109619 [details] reduced testcase the background image in an absolutely positioned table shows up even when the table itself is completely clipped. this is what the site is using (actually a table in a fully clipped div, but the effect is the same)

Summary: Bad rollover menus display (menu item text hidden) → table background shows even when fully clipped
On the other hand the content of the td element ('foobar' text in the testcase) is clipped completely even if you change the clipping to show a part of the table. This works fine on Windows builds too.
wfm winxp 2004090507. Andrew do you still seee this?
Created attachment 158070 [details] testcase the background image was 404. The bug is still a problem.
