User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/118.0

Steps to reproduce:

Reopen Closed Tab does not appear in the same position in the drop list for the user to select

Actual results:

Reopen Closed Tab list position changes when clicking on an existing Tab or empty Tab area. if the user is too quick the wrong selection is selected.

Expected results:

the position should remain the same so the user is presented with a consistent selection. perhaps 'always' at the bottom of the list.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Tabbed Browser' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

On the first try, I was not able to reproduce your issue in the latest Nightly 120.0a1 version on Windows 10 x64.
Would it be possible to share a screen recording with this issue for better understanding?

The request is that Reopen Closed Tab option should always appear in the same position in the tabs context menu, regardless of clicking on a tab or on the empty part of the tabbar. So the user can consistently target the n-th entry of the menu.
Though, the options in those menus are very different, thus it seems tricky to address and will require UX intervention.
