Firefox was using 5-6 GB of RAM.

  1. Open Task Manager.
  2. It was using 6+ GB of RAM.
  3. Pages infinitely load.

Using a lot of memory is not a security issue. There are lots of ways to make the browser use a lot of memory.

Maybe we are experiencing the same issue. I already hijacked which looked like my issue. That you wrote "Pages infinitely load" got my attention. Because this is also what I see when hit the problem and GPU memory usage will sky rocket.

Could you please add GPU information and which driver version you are using?
