Steps to reproduce:
When starting Thunderbird with the profile manager both my profiles show the checkbox "use the selected profile without asking".
I've attached screenshots and the profiles.ini file.
Actual results:
2 profiles are set to be the default profile.
Expected results:
I expect only one profile to be the default profile.

Two profiles are created on install, both of which are expected. "default" is there for historical reasons, but "default-release" is the profile that should be actually used immediately after install. If "default" is being actively used, then something other than Thunderbird caused it to be used.

The profiles.ini file is only managed by Thunderbird. You can see from the screenshots that something is odd with Thunderbird.
