User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130 Unable to log into HP's support web site (itrc.hp.com), receive error logging that user id and password are now found at this site. IE v 6.0 and Netscape Communicator 4.75 work OK. This resulted after installing a New PC and loading Mozilla. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.http://itrc.hp.com 2.select login 3.enter ID and password Actual Results: could not login Your User ID and Password are not found at this IT Resource Center site. Please check and re-enter your User ID and Password. Also, be sure you are using the site where you registered: Americas/Asia-Pacific customers should use the Americas/Asia-Pacific site, and European customers should use the European site. If you do not have a User ID and Password for the IT Resource Center, please register. Americas/Asia-Pacific support customers should register at the Americas/Asia-Pacific site. ( Error ciss50131 ) Expected Results: I should have been logged in to web site. As far as severity, I use Mozilla for working with this site (itrc.hp.com) on a daily basis due to the increased response times I received over Netscape and IE. The speed differences in speed are significant.
After registering, I was able to log in without any problems - 2002121008 Mark: the severity is for how severe to Mozilla a bug is, not how severe it is to you. The description of Blocker is: "Blocks development and/or testing work" Mozilla itself can still be used without any problems in this case, thus it is definitely not a blocker. The error the site gives you is quite strange though. Are you sure you're not blocking any of the (numerous) cookies that are set before you're logged in? If you look up the password under tools -> password manager -> manage passwords, delete it and then try logging in again, does it work now? If not, could you try creating a new profile for which you don't use the password manager, and logging in with that? Does that work?
Reassigning unconfirmed form and password manager bugs to the new owner
