There was a spike at the time this bug was reported. But that is gone after 115.4.3/115.5.0.

Most of the crash comments at that time cited slowness. Current crash comments with newer version also cite slowness - bp-23729ce2-5586-4a16-8290-583270240112 bp-ee807243-78b1-4f34-9ab7-0ea190240114

Severity: -- → S3

Whatever this was for Thunderbird, in mid-October 2023 it spiked in 115.3.1, 115.3.2, 115.3.3 and then 115.4.1 or shortly thereafter tapered off to roughly the same crash rate as Firefox. So the spike is gone (but the crash signature is not). Several users report hangs and freezes.

As far as I can tell, no other crash signatures increase when this one tapered off.
