Steps to reproduce:
Thunderbird News and Blogs - tried adding RSS URL feeds from "Google News" ( https://news.google.com/home?hl=en-US&gl=US&ceid=US:en ) into News and Blogs via Account Settings / Manage Subscriptions. Example: Tried adding RSS feeds URL to News & Blogs from Google News about subject "Fishing" or "Weather".
However,
Expected results:
There is no problem importing and viewing RSS feeds from any sources other than Google News (example: BBC News). I can import and view Google News RSS feeds in standalone RSS readers as well as using RSS feed readers in Chrome browser extensions.
Actual results:
Thunderbird gives the error message on any RSS feeds from Google News "feed is unauthorized". Upgrade from version 102 to 115 Supernova did not help.
Expected results:
Should have been able to add URL of RSS feeds from Google News into "News and Blogs" without validation issues like other RSS feeds.
