User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/118.0.0.0 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
- Start Thunderbird
- Switch to the calendar view
- An upper and a lower pane are displayed on the right side. The upper pane shows the titles of calendar items, and the lower pane shows the current day view (or week, month, depending on settings)
- By default, three calendar items are visible in the upper pane after switching to the calendar view (see upper screenshot in the attachment)
- In order to see more calendar items in the upper pane, I dragged the split bar between the upper and the lower pane down (see red arrow in the upper screenshot of the attachment), e.g. to the middle of the window.
- Result: the upper pane has a much bigger size, so that I can see a lot more calendar items. That is fine. (see second screenshot in the attachment)
- Close Thunderbird
- Start Thunderbird again
- Switch to the calendar view
Actual results:
Result: again only 3 calendar items are visible (like in the upper screenshot of the attachment). Again I have to manually resize the upper pane to see more than 3 calendar items
Expected results:
Like in previous versions of Thunderbird, Thunderbird should remember the pane sizes. Otherwise, from a usability point of view, it is frustrating for the user if he has to resize after each restart of Thunderbird.
