scroll down to the list of videos. Put your mouse in the first box ("Showcase: Truck Stop v. Ring of Fire (Men’s Semifinal)") in the empty space between the text and the image. Put your fingers on the touchpad and attempt to scroll left and right (you can't, there's nothing to scroll). Then, without lifting your fingers, attempt to scroll up and down.
Actual results:
the image on the right in the box overscrolls up and down.
Expected results:
the whole page scrolls up and down.
I'm testing on a mac.

I'm not able to reproduce this on Linux.
A guess at what might be going on based on the symptoms: maybe there's a subframe that's horizontally scrollable only by a subpixel amount (but shouldn't be), and it traps the pan gesture when it's started in a horizontal direction?
(An element being scrollable by a subpixel amount when it shouldn't be could in turn potentially be a consequence of bug 1774315 and related issues. It's worth checking back on this once that's sorted out, to see if it still reproduces.)
