User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/115.0
Steps to reproduce:
I use thunderbird 115 under Windows 10.
I read the encrypted email 1 with reference line Text A, then read unencrypted email 2 with reference line Text B
Actual results:
The reference line "Text A" (of email 1) appears in email 2 with new reference line "Text A" (instead of reference line" Text B"). This new reference line Text A remains with both e-mails, even after restarting thunderbird or the computer, it also remains when answering to email 2. It happens since some weeks (with 115 installed) but to rarely to be absolutely certain what happened just before. I talked to another person I exchange encrypted emails with, she notices the same phenomenon only regarding encrypted emails, but she uses Apple.
Expected results:
reference lines should not change

Seems to be the same as to #1844149 and #1860518.

I have encountered the problem on Win10, 115.5.2 (64-Bit). The bug was also reported on Linux and a friend told me he ran into this nasty bug on Apple 115.5.2 (64-Bit)
