Steps to reproduce:

Open a company created PDF that is approx. 30MB and containing 101 pages. Unfortunately, I am unable to share the actual PDF from the company I am working for at this time.

True use case is using PDF.js (viewer.html) in Xamarin > WebView but PDFs show issues when on PC Browser.

Actual results:

PDF loads and shows pages, each page shows the loading image. First page will take approx. 10-15 seconds to load and display content, then continue with next page(s). If scrolling, the pages will scroll for a moment, then pause/freeze to then render the "next" pages.

Expected results:

PDF should load and show content (almost) instantly like Chrome or Edge

When using PDF.js version 2.5.207, this PDF loads instantly and flawlessly.
When using PDF.js version 2.6.347 or higher, the PDF loads poorly.

While these are NOT the PDF is question, these two PDFs do show a little slowness when rendering pages

The two pdfs mentioned in comment #0 aren't related to the original issue which is related to optional contents.
:Derek, you can either send me the pdf on my pro email (the mozilla one) or we can make this bug mozilla employee confidential.

Unfortunately I am unable to share the PDF.

Derek, can you generate a similar PDF without sensitive information?

Without the PDF, it'll be hard to help.

Setting the "need info" request for the reporter to address comment 4.

Closing due to insufficient information to investigate further. Please reopen if it reoccurs and more information is made available (the PDF that caused the crash). Thank you.
