User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; FreeBSD amd64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/115.0
Steps to reproduce:
Select some (5-20) messages in a folder on an IMAP account and move them to a different folder.
Actual results:
It seems the UI gets in the way, as it refreshes both the message list and the message preview after each single message is moved. So moving 20 messages takes nearly 15 seconds; I did not dare to try moving some hundreds.
As a bonus, since each message is opened in the preview pane, most of them are marked as read, so you lose the read/unread status.
Expected results:
All messages should have moved atomically without refreshing the window or opening them.
Unread messages should not be marked as read just because they are moved to a different folder.
All the above is what happened up to version 102.

Hello.
As much as I'm willing to provide performance info, I don't think we'll have a 128 port on FreeBSD so soon.
In any case, if you think it should be closed in a month, go ahead.

Hello.
Now that I'm on 128.2.3esr, I tried again and the problem persists.
I tried creating a performance profile, but, after I click "Capture profile", an empty window comes up, with only a white frame and without the "Upload local profile" button.
Notice however, this is not strictly a performance problem: it would if moving messages only took a long time; however, they are also marked as read (i.e. select 10 unread messages, move then to a different folder and most of them will appear as read).
