Steps to reproduce:
Occurs often when time try to send email -- I need to toggle to an alternative email address. The problem occurs frequently (since downloading the new version last week) - in particular when sometimes when unintentionally click on the original email address.
Actual results:
When click on the desired email address, nothing happens. Program does not hang, no other problem. Requires closing program and reopening.
Expected results:
Usually just click on alternative email address and it sends instantly,

This may be related to the issue, as I was having the same problem. After checking the Outgoing SMTP server settings on the account in Thunderbird, I was able to see that it was set to the default, which included the username for a different account. I believe this happened during the big UI update that happened several months back. Changing this to the correct server fixed the issue for me.
