It would be useful to project managers using Microsoft Project for scheduling
and Bugzilla for bug tracking to be able to synchronize bugzilla entries with
their Microsoft Project database.
Example: Joe has 47 bugs. Joe's manager would like those bugs to appear in his
Microsoft Project interface so that she can track the time taken to fix those
bugs. Bonus points if it synchronizes 'time spent'/'time remaining' information
from bugzilla fields, and if it handles cases where bugs get reassigned to
someone else.
Right now, all of this work needs to be done manually, which is time-consuming
and error-prone.

You can use the Bug.update WebService method to interact with Bugzilla and update time related fields remotely, see http://www.bugzilla.org/docs/tip/en/html/api/Bugzilla/WebService/Bug.html#update.
