Found in

Affected versions

  • Nightly 121.0a1
  • Firefox 120.0b3

Tested platforms

  • Affected platforms: Windows 10, Ubuntu 22.04 x64, macOS 12.

Preconditions

  • Ensure that the browser.privatebrowsing.resetPBM.enabled setting is set to true in about:config.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open a new private window.
  2. Right-click on the "End Private Session" button and click on Remove from Toolbar.
  3. Open a regular window.
  4. Right-click on the Toolbar, and select Customize Toolbar.
  5. Look for the "End Private Session" button.

Expected result

  • The button should be present and displayed correctly (with icon and name).

Actual result

  • The "End Private Session" button has no icon. Please see the screenshot for more details.

Regression range

  • Not a regression.

Additional notes

  • The icon is properly displayed if Customize mode is opened in a private window.

:sbadau, if you think that's a regression, could you try to find a regression range using for example mozregression?
