Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/119.0

Steps to reproduce:

Select Delete Message from INBOX, placing it in TRASH.
Empty TRASH either manually or automatically when Thunderbird is closed.

Actual results:

Message does not appear when Thunderbird is reopened. However, when a POP3 mail client downloads messages from the server, the supposedly deleted message is downloaded.

Expected results:

When Thunderbird is set to delete a message from the server, the POP3 client should not be able to download it. Thunderbird does not delete the message from the server. I first reported this bug when Thunderbird was at the 113 level but it has not been fixed.

Michael, Are you seeing this with the most recent update of version 115?
